Y – Yardwork: Yardwork was one of my favorite things to do, before my pain got too severe. I love digging in the dirt.

Z – Zebra: Zebras are the icon/mascot for Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. The reason for this: Doctors are taught that if they hear trotting it will be horses, not zebras. This means that they shouldn’t look for something rare. But, EDS is rare.

I hope you’ve learned a little more about me. Who we are will influence what we write and how we look at various topics. I hope to learn more about you, too. Share often!

      1. For the record, I’m old enough to understand what ‘xerox it’ means, lol. I hadn’t heard of EDS until I found your blog (it wasn’t even called The Frugal Grandma then), so I learned something from you.
