I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

When you are trying to raise children, one thing that’s important is to help them to be brave. If you believe in God, you’ll want them to have a courageous faith. In the new Juvenile Devotional book, Roar Like A Lion, Pastor Levi Lusko has written 90 devotions that will inspire children to live boldly for God.

This 190-page hardback book is not just a colorful and cute, but it has modern artwork that would fit in on any social media site. Kids will love the bold primary colors mixed with the lovely muted tones, illustrated by Catherine Pearson.

Each devotional has a theme. A Scripture that helps to teach a short lesson is included with a picture to illustrate the idea. The devotional speaks directly to the child in language that is easy for them to understand. The devotion has a prayer.

The author concludes each devotional with an application section. Your child will get some great ideas on how to live out the theme.

As you can see in Devotional 38, the theme is “You’ve Got A Purpose.” This is a great example to share because it teaches children what their purpose is. The verse, Colossians 3:17 teaches them to do everything for Jesus and to give thanks to God. Pastor Lusko shares ways that children can easily follow God’s will in their everyday life.

I recommend this devotional book and know that my grandchild is going to learn a lot from this.
